Abstract
This document, Database Support for Replication, specifies the programming interface to enable pluggable replication protocols and tools in relational database management systems.This specification is presented in the context of the Java platform. It is however possible to map it to other languages and platforms as it relies on standard concepts and interfaces. For clarity, we make references only to Java transcriptions of such standards.
