D2.2 - Architecture Definition Report2007/09/29
AbstractThis document describes the GORDA Architecture, which enables independent development of database management systems (DBMS) and database replication systems. The architecture builds on the classic database management system’s architecture with remote database access, a standard call-level interface and supporting SQL requests. The proposed architecture models the system through two articulated plans: one that reflects the standard transaction pipeline and the other a set of contexts reflecting the scope of the various operations through the transaction processing pipeline. The replicated database management system architecture is complemented by a generic management architecture.Full textpdf |
